As a co-founder of luxury mens brand THE EIGHTH, TRUE . STATE was tasked with the entire development of the brand identity.
OUR APPROACH
TRUE . STATE was responsible for a wide range of tasks, including product and package design, website design, pre-launch marketing strategy, and organizing a full launch event.
Highlights:
We wanted the company to be very visual, we came up with a unique approach: products were sent to photographers located around the world, providing them with minimal direction. The resulting images were exceptional, showcasing our products through the diverse perspectives of creatives across the globe. The customer base loved seeing the same product shot in one way by a photographer in Malta and in another by a photographer in Mississippi.
For the launch, we traveled to Mexico and orchestrated a campaign featuring Lucha Libre wrestlers in Guadalajara The product was fun and all-inclusive so the big idea for the brand was to infiltrate niche groups around the world doing what they do best, but just wearing our product. It was a huge success. The launch campaign was named one of the top 10 of the year by Vogue Magazine and the launch party included a full wrestling show and a performance by a then, lesser known Travis Scott.
